Home is a place you feel free to be yourself. A place you are comfortable. A place you hold dear to your heart. I have left pieces of my heart in every place I’ve called home: the farm with the perfect view of the sunset, my 1st apartment with my best friend, Lanewood Pines – too many memories to count, the tiny house where we started our family, and the house we are making a home as we watch our babies grow. These places all hold a part of me, but now (and for the rest of my life) my heart belongs to the three I love the most. Home is more than just a place – it is a feeling. I feel it when my husband holds me and every night when I tuck my children into bed. Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros said it best, home is wherever I’m with you.

My mother – she was my home before I was born. I will always feel perfectly at home when I’m with her. I believe my boys feel the same way about their Gaga.
